Issue
Olympus has identified that certain customer-loaned surgical devices intended for human use were incorrectly allocated and deployed for animal use and subsequently used for animal purposes. The devices were then returned to Olympus, where they were reprocessed; however, the same devices were subsequently issued to hospitals for human clinical use.
