Klean Strip Denatured Alcohol Fuel recalled due to improper labelling

This recall involves Klean Strip Denatured Alcohol Fuel sold on Amazon.ca in 946 mL (1 quart) containers with ASIN B002MBX2QE and 3.78L (1 gallon) containers with ASIN B001EMB2A0.

Health Canada's sampling and assessment program has determined that this product does not meet the labelling requirements of the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act.

The lack of appropriate labelling information could result in unintentional exposure to the products and lead to serious illness or injury including death.

As of October 30, 2026, the company has received no reports of incident or injury in Canada.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and dispose of it according to municipal hazardous waste guidelines. Do not return the product to the seller. 

Consumers who have purchased the product from NelsonLife on Amazon.ca can contact NelsonLife for a refund through Amazon.ca's Buyer-Seller Messaging Service (Your Order -> Contact seller). Consumers who purchased between August 2026 and October 2026 have already been contacted directly and refunded.
